Our Mission
The Tillamook Bay Watershed Council (TBWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, maintaining, and improving the health of the Tillamook Bay watershed. Through collaborative partnerships, on the ground restoration projects, and community outreach, we work to ensure a sustainable future for our natural ecosystems and local communities.
Regular monthly meetings of the TBWC are held on the last Tuesday of every month in Bay City at the "Ad Montgomery" Community Hall at 6pm.

About TBWC (Tillamook Bay Watershed Council)
Our Council’s Icon: A Symbol of Connection and Stewardship
Our council’s new icon tells the story of Tillamook Bay and the rivers that shape it. The pentagon at the heart of the design represents the five rivers — the Tillamook, Trask, Wilson, Kilchis, and Miami — that each play a vital role in feeding the bay’s waters and supporting its ecosystems.
Within the pentagon swims a Coho salmon, a reminder of the rich natural life that depends on clean, healthy rivers. The salmon reflects both the beauty of our waterways and our shared responsibility to protect them.
Each section of the pentagon features a unique water symbol, representing the distinct character and flow of each river and watershed. Together, they show how many separate streams join to create one thriving, connected community — much like the people and partnerships working to safeguard Tillamook Bay for the future.
Our icon reflects our values: unity, respect for the land and water, and a commitment to lasting stewardship.
Protect. Restore. Thrive.
We work to protect the Tillamook Bay Watershed from degradation, restore its natural systems, and ensure the long-term health and sustainability of its resources. By fostering stewardship, building community understanding, and taking proactive action, we help the watershed not just survive — but thrive.
